The Transformation Center now offers a SPRAVATO™ as a stand alone program as well as an Intensive Outpatient Therapy Program to alleviate your symptoms of depression and restore your quality of life.
If you’ve struggled with depression and tried two or more antidepressants in your current episode without adequate relief, schedule an appointment with the Transformation Center to see if you have treatment-resistant depression.
Spravato™ is self-administered at our clinic due to the risks for sedation, dissociation, abuse, and misuse, SPRAVATO™ can only be administered in healthcare settings certified in the SPRAVATO™ REMS Program. Our private clinic area provides a comfortable environment for you to relax while SPRAVATO™ is administered. You will need to plan for a caregiver or family member to drive you home after taking SPRAVATO™.
What is Spravato?
SPRAVATO® (esketamine) is the first prescription nasal spray, approved by the FDA taken with an oral antidepressant, for the treatment of:
- Treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in adults as monotherapy or in conjunction with an oral antidepressant.
- Depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with acute suicidal ideation or behavior in conjunction with an oral antidepressant.
Spravato is considered by many to be one of the biggest breakthroughs in depression treatment since the advent of Prozac. Spravato is the brand name for esketamine.
Spravato is prescribed by a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner, and administered in a controlled environment. The effects of Spravato are felt within hours, compared to traditional depression medication which can take several weeks to months to take effect. Spravato can serve as a catalyst for therapeutic growth for many for whom more traditional mental health interventions have fallen short.
How is Spravato Dosed?
SPRAVATO™ is taken with a daily oral antidepressant.
You administer SPRAVATO™ nasal spray yourself under the supervision of a healthcare professional at the Transformation Center
